Neil Hattangadi MD, MSc, is CEO and Co-Founder of Cortica, the country’s leading whole-child, tech-enabled provider for children with autism and other developmental differences. Cortica provides coordinated care for each child spanning medical treatment, behavioral therapy, developmental therapy, and family support and counseling. They conduct research studies and incorporate cutting-edge technologies in their care model, including Floreo VR and other novel therapeutics. They sit at the forefront of value-based care in autism, having executed multiple transformative partnerships with leading health plans to improve whole-child outcomes and to reduce cost from high ABA utilization, excessive medications, and ED/IP admissions.

Neil has been a healthcare technology start-up leader for over 20 years, bringing together diverse teams to solve the most pressing unmet clinical needs. His three prior companies (FoxHollow Technologies FOXH, Volcano Corporation VOLC, Spirox) were successfully transacted for over $2B and collectively served over 2 million patients. Neil was previously a healthcare equities investor at Citadel Asset Management and SAC Capital, and he was a consultant with McKinsey in Boston and Silicon Valley. Neil earned degrees from Duke, Harvard Medical School, and Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar. He lives in San Diego with his wife and 2 children, where he enjoys open water swimming and microbrews.
