Rachel Kornak is the Strategic Partnerships and Tech Education Manager for the Mayor’s Office of Finance, Operations and Innovation at the City of Los Angeles. She enjoys launching new initiatives and using technology to drive positive change. She has 20 years of experience in technology, education, and entrepreneurship. 

Rachel taught spatial analysis at Penn State University, the University of Michigan and the Asian Institute of Technology. She also served as Esri’s Geographic Information Science (GIS) Education Ambassador in Indonesia. She completed a M.S. in Environmental Science, a B.S. in Environmental Geology and a B.S in Spanish at the University of Michigan, a Certificate in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) at Pennsylvania State and a Certificate in Change Leadership at Cornell.
